Andrey Arshavin's unhappy spell at Arsenal is set to end this summer, with manager Arsene Wenger saying it is unlikely to offer the Russia winger a new contract.
Arshavin is in the final year of his deal at the English Premier League side and has found first-team opportunities hard to come by over the last two seasons, with his work rate often criticized by fans.
Wenger says on Friday ''I don't think he will stay here, because he doesn't play enough.''
The 31-year-old Arshavin spent the second half of last season on loan at Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg, which he left to join Arsenal in January 2009 for a reported fee of 15 million pounds ($23 million), a club record at the time.
