Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain has played his first full practice game since being sidelined in late November with a back injury.
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said on Wednesday that Higuain ''has played for the first time what can be called a traditional game with the players of Real Madrid Castilla (Madrid's B-team) during 60 minutes.''
Mourinho said Higuain is not completely recovered but that he is expected back soon.
Higuain scored 10 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions before a back hernia forced him to undergo surgery.

Madrid brought in Emmanuel Adebayor from Manchester City to replace him in January.
Higuain has been a regular in Madrid's lineup since arriving from River Plate in 2007.
