Defensive midfielder Marvin Angulo, on loan from Costa Rican club CS Herediano, will leave the Melbourne Victory after a two-year spell with the Australian side.
They also announced that Michael Petkovic, who has played in six Australian internationals and was the Victory's No. 1 goalkeeper, had retired. The 34-year-old Petkovic also had a long stint in Turkey, playing with Trabzonspor and Sivasspor.
Petkovic was in goal when Australia beat American Samoa by a record 31-0 score in 2001 during Oceania qualifying for the 2002 World Cup.
