Anderson wary of tough Benfica
Sir Alex Ferguson's side begin their Champions League campaign against Benfica who, like the Red Devils, have made an unbeaten start to their domestic season. Anderson moved to Old Trafford from Porto in 2007 after making 18 appearances for the current Primeira Liga champions. The 23-year-old has made an impressive start to the Premier League season, starting every game and scoring against Tottenham last month. He said: "The season has been great for me so far. "It is very special to play here as a former Porto player. Benfica are stronger now than when I played in Portugal for Porto. "They are growing and are more experienced. The coach is very good so they will be difficult to beat." After the game against Benfica, Manchester United host FC Basel in September, before a double-header against Romanian side Otelul Galati.
