Former Portsmouth owner Sulaiman Al Fahim is ready to hand over his 10% shareholding in the Fratton Park club to a supporters trust.

Al Fahim sold Pompey to Ali Al Faraj in October, just a matter of weeks after he had bought the club Al Fahim, who was named non-executive chairman, is ready to relinquish his holding in the club.

"Currently I am working to transfer my shares to (the) Pompey trust," he told the Portsmouth News. "I always believe football clubs are owned by the community and not an individual.

"As individuals we always try our best but we look at the business from our point of view.

"Football is not a normal business. It's a community matter. It's better to be co-owned between the supporters and the businessmen. And I consider myself as one of the supporters."
