The agent of Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup insists the Dane has no intention of quitting his post.

Speculation regarding Laudrup's future has been raging for some time, with his services very much in-demand.

He enjoyed a productive debut season at the Liberty Stadium in 2012/13, guiding Swansea to League Cup glory and a top-half finish in the Premier League.

Laudrup has been linked with several other positions after seeing his reputation enhanced, but has always been quick to distance himself from such talk.

His representative has now adopted that stance, with rumours suggesting that the 48-year-old is unhappy at a lack of transfer movement played down.

Bayram Tutumlu posted on Twitter: "Michael Laudrup is going to stay at Swansea City because he promised the players that he was going to stay.

"For Michael Laudrup, his word is more important than other things."
