The 25-year-old midfielder caught the attention of a number of top clubs last season with his on-field heroics as he skippered Blackpool in their first ever Premier League campaign. But despite scoring 12 times he could not prevent the Seasiders from making a quick return to the Championship on the last day of the season. And now Adam is confident he can dispel any lingering doubts over his Premier League credentials with another all-action season. "The expectation levels here are really different to what they were at Blackpool," Adam told the Liverpool Echo. "We are expected to win every week, whereas that wasn't always the case last season. But having that kind of challenge is something I really look forward to. "I hadn't played in the Premier League until last season and people judged me on how I performed for Blackpool. "But I want to show that I can be a Premier League player on a consistent basis, and that I'm good enough to play for Liverpool."
