AC Milan has acquired Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Milan announced the signing on Wednesday, saying it had reached a loan deal with Genoa, which recently acquired Boateng from Portsmouth.
The deal gives Milan the option to purchase Boateng's full contract at the end of the season.
Boateng scored for Ghana against the United States at this year's World Cup. He was born in Berlin to a German mother and Ghanaian father. Boateng's brother Jerome plays for Germany' and recently transferred to Manchester City.
