The Asian Football Confederation has handed out six-match bans to Suwon Bluewings assistant coach Ko Jong-su and striker Ristikj Stevica following a mass brawl during its Asian Champions League semifinal loss to Qatari side Al Sadd.

Al Sadd goalkeeping coach Saber Ali has also been suspended for six matches for his role in the fighting during the Oct. 19 first-leg match that saw three players sent off and a delay of about 10 minutes.

Suwon players were infuriated when Al Sadd striker Mamadou Niang intercepted a ball and rounded the goalkeeper for an 81st-minute goal. Suwon was expecting to receive the ball back after knocking it out so that a player could receive treatment for a head injury.

Al Sadd won the semifinal 2-1 on aggregate and plays Korean side Jeonbuk Motors in the final on Saturday.
