A court has convicted 15 Croatian players and team officials for their part in a major match-fixing scandal.
Thirteen were sentenced to between six and 10 months in prison for fixing national league games for betting purposes. Two more received suspended sentences.
All were ordered to return some ?200,000 ($264,000) in profits from the fraud.
The Croatian authorities were informed by German police in 2009 about possible match-fixing, prompting an investigation under the code name ''Offside.''

Tuesday's verdicts came just days after two senior Croat football officials were arrested on suspicion they took payments in return for guaranteeing that national league matches would be refereed fairly.
