NEW YORK (AP) Yankees right-hander Brayan Alcantara has been suspended for 72 games under baseball's minor league drug program for testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol.
Alcantara, a 21-year-old right-hander, was 1-4 with a 4.21 ERA in 18 relief appearances last year for the Yankees' Dominican Summer League team and is 1-13 in three minor league seasons.
The suspension, announced Wednesday, was the 40th this year under the minor league program.
