Yadi sad about Cardinals trading Jay, Cruz: 'Maybe I'm next'
Baseball can be a cruel business sometimes. Just ask St. Louis Cardinals All-Star catcher Yadier Molina.
Catcher Tony Cruz served as Molina's backup for the last five seasons. He's now with the Kansas City Royals. Jon Jay spent six seasons sharing a locker room with Molina. He's now a member of the San Diego Padres.
Two trades, two friends headed to new beginnings.
There were plenty of memories shared between teammates, including a World Series win in 2011, and the eight-time Gold Glove winner was sad to see them go.
"Please don't trade Molina next." - All of Cardinals Nation, probably.
So sad!First Tony and now Jay!! Maybe I'm next!!!It may be business but for me you guys are family. U will b missed! pic.twitter.com/2jyww8bZdS

For what it's worth, Yadi, you aren't the only one who is sad to see Jay go.
Good luck to @jonjayU . Part of some great memories. pic.twitter.com/YZXeEb8N4w
