Wolves recall Malcolm Lee from Sioux Falls

MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday recalled rookie guard Malcolm Lee from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League. He is expected to be available to play Friday night when the Timberwolves host the Los Angeles Lakers.
In his second stint with Sioux Falls, Lee appeared in four games for the Skyforce, averaging 10.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.8 assists.
During his first NBDL assignment, Lee, who was recalled to Minnesota on Feb. 14, appeared in three games for the Skyforce, averaging 9.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists.
Lee, a 6-foot-5 second-round pick from UCLA, underwent successful surgery on Dec. 30 to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. He has not appeared in any games for the Wolves this season.
