-- This is the 88th meeting between Wisconsin and Iowa with the Badgers leading the all-time series 43-42-2. Iowa leads the series in game played in Iowa City, 24-17-1.

-- Wisconsin's last 22 wins have all been by a double-digit margin. The last single-digit win was against Utah State on Sept. 15, 2012.

-- The Badgers are just 4-5 under Gary Andersen when they score under 30 points and 13-1 when scoring 30+.

-- Wisconsin is 10-0 when holding opponents 100 yards or fewer rushing in the Andersen era.

-- Under Andersen, Wisconsin is 12-1 when scoring first (5-1 in 2014), 5-5 when the opponent scores first (3-1 in 2014), 13-1 when leading after the first quarter (5-1 in 2014), 3-5 when trailing after the first quarter (2-1 in 2014), 16-3 when leading at halftime (7-1 in 2014), 0-2 when trailing at halftime (0-1 in 2014), 17-2 when leading after the third quarter (8-1 in 2014) and 0-4 when trailing after the third quarter (0-1 in 2014).

-- Wisconsin has had 25 100-yard rushers against Iowa with three topping 200 (only Billy Marek, 206 in 1974, did it in Iowa City). Since 2000, the Badgers have had only four 100-yard rushers against the Hawkeyes.

-- Wisconsin had had 11 200-yard passers against Iowa and two over 300 yards (Randy Wright, 325, 1983 and Darrell Bevell, 352, 1995).

-- Wisconsin has had 10 100-yard receivers against Iowa but none since Luke Swan in 2006. The Badgers are 4-6 in such games, but 3-1 in the last four.

-- A Badgers tight end hasn't had a 100-yard receiving game since Lance Kendricks did it in back-to-back weeks in 2010 vs. Arizona State on Sept. 18 and Austin Peay on Sept. 25.

-- Melvin Gordon's next 100-yard rushing game will be his 20th, tying P.J. Hill for 4th place on UW's all-time list. Unless Gordon returns for his senior year,  4th place is as high as he'll climb Anthony Davis is next with 24.

-- Gordon's next 100-yard rushing game will be his 10th of the season, which would tie Brent Moss, Ron Dayne, Anthony Davis and Montee Ball (twice) for most in a single season in UW history.

-- Gordon's next 200-yard rushing game will be his 6th at Wisconsin, breaking a tie with Anthony Davis and Billy Marek for second-most in UW history (Ron Dayne, 14, has the most). It would also be his 5th 200-yard game this season. Only Dayne has done that in Wisconsin history, accomplishing it both in 1996 and 1999.

-- Gordon needs 91 yards to become the 17th player in FBS history to rush for 2,000 in a season.

-- Gordon needs fewer than 18 rushing attempts to reach 2,000 yards in a season quicker than any player in FBS history.

-- Gordon needs 15 rushing yards to pass Montee Ball (2011) for 7th place, 19 to pass Eddie George (1995) for 6th place, 126 to pass Ron Dayne (1999) for 5th place, 155 to pass Damien Anderson (2000) for 4th place, 158 to pass Lorenzo White (1985) for 3rd place, 178 to pass Larry Johnson (2002) for 2nd place and 201 yards to pass Ron Dayne (1996) for 1st place on the Big Ten's all-time single-season list.

-- Gordon needs 15 rushing yards to pass Montee Ball (2011) for 3th place, 126 to pass Ron Dayne (1999) for 2nd place and 201 yards to pass Ron Dayne (1996) for 1st place on UW's all-time single-season list.

-- Gordon needs 249 rushing yards to pass Damien Anderson for 10th place on the Big Ten's all-time list.

-- Gordon needs two rushing touchdowns to tie John Clay for 7th place and three to tie Anthony Davis and P.J. Hill for 5th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Gordon needs two touchdowns to tie and three to pass P.J. Hill for 5th place and four touchdowns to tie Billy Marek for 4th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Gordon needs one rushing touchdown to tie Anthony Thompson (1989) and Eddie George (1985) for 5th place, two to tie Pete Johnson (1975) for 4th place, three to tie and four to pass Anthony Thompson (1988) and Ki-Jana Carter (1994) for 2nd place on the Big Ten's all-time single-season list.

-- If Joel Stave starts it will be for the 25th time at Wisconsin, breaking a tie with Mike Howard for 8th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Stave needs 213 passing yards to pass Jim Sorgi for 7th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Stave needs 20 pass completions to tie and 21 to pass Tony Lowery for 8th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Stave needs 4 passing touchdowns to tie Randy Wright and Brooks Bollinger for 3rd place on UW's all-time list.

-- Only one Wisconsin kicker has ever had two 50+-yard field goals in a season, Taylor Mehlhaff in 2006, although one was in a bowl game. Rafael Gaglianone had a 51-yarder in the opener.

-- Gaglianone needs 5 extra points and 6 to pass Philip Welch (2011) for 3rd place and 7 to tie and 8 to pass Taylor Mehlhaff (2005) on UW's all-time single-season list.

-- Galglianone needs 3 field goals to tie Todd Gregoire (1985, 1987) and Vitaly Pisetsky (1999) for 8th most in a single season in UW history.

-- Kenzel Doe has 1 kick return for a touchdown. Only two Wisconsin players have had 2 kick returns for TDs: Ira Matthews and Nick Davis.

-- Doe needs 4 kick returns to tie and 5 to pass Aaron Stecker for 6th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Doe needs 2 punt returns to tie and 3 to pass to Archie Burks for 7th place on UW's all-time list.

-- Joe Schobert has 2 forced fumbles. One more would tie him with many players for the third-most in a season in UW history. Chris Borland holds the record with 5 (done twice, in 2009 and 2011).
