ahead of the official end of the NHL lockout, Red Wings owners Marian
and Mike Ilitch posted an apologetic letter to fans on the team's
website.
Here it is in its entirety:
If the players, as expected, vote to approve the labor deal, training camp will open Sunday at Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth. According to reports, the Red Wings will start the season Jan. 19 at St. Louis, play in Columbus on Jan. 21, then open at home Jan. 22 vs. Dallas.
