The Red Wings have signed center Dominic Turgeon, their third-round (63rd overall) selection in last year's NHL draft, to an entry-level contract, the club announced today.

He also had eight goals among nine points in 17 post-season games, helping the Winterhawks reach the WHL's conference finals for the fifth straight season.

He represented his country in the 2013 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, helping the United States capture a bronze medal with three assists in six games.
