ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Minnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk will be a central figure at the NHL awards ceremony.

Dubnyk, who led Minnesota to its NHL-best, second-half run following his trade from the Arizona Coyotes, was named a finalist for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, presented annually to the player who best exemplifies the qualities of perserverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.

Ottawa goaltender Andrew Hammond and Pittsburgh defenseman Kris Letang are the other finalists. Dubnyk was also named a finalist for the Vezina Trophy, awarded to the league's top goaltender.

Dubnyk went 36-14-4 this season and was second in the league in goals-against average (2.07) and save percentage (.929 percent), while tying for fourth with six shutouts. He was sixth in the league in wins. Dubnyk's bounceback campaign came after he was tried twice last season and ended the year in the American Hockey League.

Including a start in his final game with Arizona, Dubnyk started 39 consecutive games, the longest streaks in the NHL since Evgeni Nabokov started 43 in a row for the San Jose Sharks in 2007-08, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

During the streak, Dubnyk established a Wild record for consecutive starts (38). He set career-bests in goals-against average, save percentage, games played, consecutive starts, wins, shutouts, minutes, assists, shots faced and saves.

The NHL's season-ending award ceremony is June 24 in Las Vegas. Minnesota goaltender Josh Harding was the 2013 recipient of the Masterton Trophy, becoming the first player in Wild history to win a voted-on NHL award.
