
Wild recall goaltender Matt Hackett from Aeros

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Wild recalled goaltender Matt Hackett from the Houston Aeros.
Hackett is 2-0-0 with a 0.85 goals-against average and a .977 save percentage in three games with Minnesota this season, having stopped 84 of 86 shots. He is 16-13-4 with a 2.42 GAA, a .917 save percentage and one shutout in 34 games with the Aeros.
The 6-foot-2, 179-pound native of London, Ontario, earned a win in his NHL debut by stopping all 34 shots faced in relief at San Jose on Dec. 6 and then had 42 saves in a 4-2 win at Los Angeles on Dec. 8. According to Elias, he set an NHL record for longest shutout streak to start a career at 102:48. Hackett was Minnesota's third-round pick (No. 77 overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry draft.
