When will Marlins Park host All-Star Game?

According to Cincinnati.com, the 2015 MLB All-Star Game will be heading to Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park.
It's unclear whether the Miami Marlins actually submitted a bid for Marlins Park to host the game, though team president David Samson said that was the plan during the park's construction.
Because MLB usually alternates host cities between the NL and AL, 2017 would likely be the next opportunity for the Marlins to host. But the Marlins aren't the only NL team with a new stadium itching to host the annual event.
The Philadelphia Phillies' Citizens Bank Park and San Diego Padres' Petco Park both opened in 2004, while the Washington Nationals Park opened in 2008.
But some would say MLB owes baseball fans in Miami an All-Star Game. The 2000 MLB All-Star Game was originally awarded to south Florida in 1995, but in 1998 it was taken away due to ownership uncertainty.
