What the fluff? A Sochi pillow shortage?
Athletes and media have been traveling to Sochi for the Winter Olympics, and some of the initial reports left much to be desired.
Now in addition to the lack of heat, brown water, and faulty, incomplete lodgings in general, it looks like Sochi may also have underestimated the amount of pillows it would take to accommodate an Olympic games.
A woman by the name of Luiza Baybakova, whom a Vocativ article cites as member of the Winter Games catering staff, posted a picture of this flyer on her Instagram account.

According to Vocativ, it translates as
"ATTENTION, DEAR COLLEAGUES!
Due to an extreme shortage of pillows for athletes who unexpectedly arrived to Olympic Village in the mountains, there will be a transfer of pillows from all apartments to the storehouse on 2 February 2014. Please be understanding. We have to help the athletes out of this bind."
In another photo, she offered a picture of a pillow, hashtagged with "#TheyreTakingOurPillows #OlympicPillow #WhereDoAthletesComeFrom #PlzDontTake."
A Sochi pillow.
