ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) What a View won the $53,000 feature by 3 1/4 lengths Thursday at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Kent Desormeaux, What a View ran one mile on turf in 1:35.64 and paid $5.20, $3.40 and $2.60 as the 8-5 favorite in a field of nine. The 4-year-old gelding is trained by former jockey Kenny Black.
It Is Living Water returned $4.40 and $3.20, while Durango Flier was another 1 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $4.40 to show.
The victory, worth $31,800, increased What a View's career earnings to $94,250, with two wins in six starts.
