Well, at least Tim Tebow has the chicken business
Tim Tebow was released by the Jets early Monday morning. Are you worried about him? Will he find another NFL team? Maybe not ... But, don't worry! According to the Tampa Tribune, Tebow is throwing his hat in the fast-food chicken business. That's right, the quarterback is financially backing several North Florida outlets for the PDQ restaurant chain. What is PDQ? Well, according to their website, "PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) is a fast casual restaurant specializing in hand-breaded chicken tenders, hand-tossed salads, sandwiches, fresh cut fries and hand spun milkshakes and malts. PDQ favorites are made with only the finest ingredients, all featuring sauces and dressings homemade everyday." (Photo courtesy of the Tampa Tribune)
Awesome. We're there. By the way, this isn't new territory for NFL players. Derrick Brooks and Vinny Testaverde have invested in PDQ in the past. Tebow's Jacksonville PDQ is slated to open later this summer.
