Watch WWE's the New Day send well-wishes to ill 92-year-old fan

Earlier this week, WWE tag team The New Day were doing a promotional visit to a TV station in Ohio ahead of tonight's WWE SmackDown taping in Toledo. Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods found out that 92-year-old superfan Alice Boraby had tickets to the show but couldn't make it due to health reasons.

So the usually "heel" tag-team turned babyface and delivered the following message to Boraby before heading off, courtesy of the TV station.

"We're going to clap your worries away," the team relayed through Toledo's 13ABC.com. "We have a special clap just for you, Alice, and you can join us if you'd like ... 'The New Day rocks, The New Day rocks!'"

The rhythmic clap is part of the team's catchphrase and ring act. And it was a big hit. "That was wonderful," Boraby told 13ABC.com.

The New Day may have lost their tag-team titles recently, but they no doubt have a fan in Boraby.

"I thought it was really neat for her," nurse Karen Laney told 13ABC.com. "The look on her face when she realized they were talking to her and it was for her was priceless. She had true surprise in her eyes, I really don't think she expected it!"
