Watch Roman Reigns' high school football highlights

Long before he headlined WrestleMania 31 along with Brock Lesnar (and suffered the "heist of the century"), Roman Reigns -- aka Joseph Anoa'i -- was a dominant high school football player at Pensacola Catholic High School in Florida.
Reigns later shined as a defensive tackle at Georgia Tech where he became a captain and earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2006. He later signed with the Minnesota Vikings after going undrafted in 2007.
But Reigns didn't even consider an NFL career, telling Buzzer's Jimmy Traina, "I was just happy to have a scholarship and the opportunity to play Division I college football." He continued: "It was a hiccup of a professional career, but it was a great experience and I'd like to think I made a lot of awesome relationships and met some really cool people along the way in football."
