Ray Williams already held the record for the heaviest raw squat without wraps, but he crushed his own mark over the weekend at the 2016 USA Powerlifting Raw Nationals in Atlanta. Without any supportive gear aside from a standard belt and knee sleeves, Williams squatted a mind-blowing 1,005 pounds (455 kg).
Williams got a shoutout from The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry.
@Coach_Williams1 congrats coach one of the best if not the best I've seen.
