Hockey is a certainly a team sport.
The squad that eventually lifts the Stanley Cup at season's end is the one that can roll four lines, has three quality defensive pairings, a strong goalie and a solid backup.
But when it comes to highlight reel goals, Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk often stands, errr, skates on his own.
Tuesday night in Nashville, Datsyuk took control of the puck in his own end, plowed through all five of the Predators players on the ice en route to beating goalie Pekka Rinne to tie the game at 3 late in the third period.
Nashville eventually won 4-3 in overtime, but Datsyuk's singular effort deserves another look. Watch the above video to see it.
