The victory, worth $60,600, increased Warren's Veneda's career earnings to $467,612, with six wins in 20 starts. The 5-year-old mare is trained by Craig Lewis.

''I had the perfect trip,'' Baze said. ''She just tries so hard. She gives me everything she's got every time she runs. It's amazing to have a nice filly like that.''
