EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings signed a pair of free agents to future contracts on Wednesday.
Minnesota signed third-year punter T.J. Conley and second-year cornerback Greg McCoy, adding to the list of future deals the team signed with practice squad players: defensive tackle Chase Baker, running back Joe Banyard, tight end LaMark Brown, cornerback Bobby Felder, tight end Chase Ford, offensive lineman Tyler Holmes, offensive lineman Kevin Murphy and receiver Chris Summers.
The agreements are typical in the offseason, with the contracts in a "future" status until the new league year begins in March.
Conley punted for the New York Jets in 2011, finishing with 42.7 gross and 38.8 net averages on 92 punts. He was released by New York in September.
McCoy, 5-foot-10, 178 pounds, was a seventh-round draft pick by the Chicago Bears in the 2012 draft, but he didn't make Chicago's final roster. He signed for a short time with the Arizona Cardinals, but hasn't played in an NFL game.
