Vikings sign six practice-squad players
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- With the season over, the Minnesota Vikings moved to keep their practice squad with the team during the summer.
The Vikings signed tackle Kevin Murphy, along with five other practice-squad players on Monday.
Minnesota signed safety Brandan Bishop, cornerback Kip Edwards, tackle Kevin Murphy, defensive lineman Spencer Nealy, running back Bradley Randle and receiver Adam Thielen to reserve-future contracts on Monday.
Murphy was with the team the entire season, spending one week on the active roster when he was a gameday inactive. Thielen spent the entire season on the practice squad.
The moves keep the players with the Vikings and they'll be officially added to the expanded roster once the new league year begins on March 11.
