Video: Smith rocks Madison Square Garden with a thunderous dunk
With just over nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, and the Cavaliers up comfortably over the New York Knicks on Sunday afternoon, Iman Shumpert found former Knick teammate J.R. Smith for fantastic in-game dunk.
Smith went high and brought the ball below his knees for a dunk that you would have seen during the All-Star dunk competition last weekend in New York.
Shumpert and Smith started the season as members of the New York Knicks of course, but were traded to the Cavaliers on January 5th. Additionally, the Cavaliers acquired Timofey Mozgoz from the Utah Jazz.
The Cavaliers beat the Knicks 101-83. Smith had 17 points in his return to the Garden. Shumpert had 4 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love were all able to sit the fourth quarter. None of the Cavaliers played more than 29 minutes.
