VIDEO: Andrew Hawkins lets son back into home after change of heart
The Cleveland Browns stomped the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday night in front of a national audience -- and while Browns receiver Andrew Hawkins didn't play, his 2-year-old son finally got the message.
In a funny Instagram video that went viral a couple weeks ago, Hawkins' little boy Austin told dad that his favorite players were "Sanu and A.J." a.k.a Bengals wide receivers A.J. Green and Mohamed Sanu.
But now young Austin's tune has changed -- and dad caught the precious "homecoming" moment on camera.
With a Browns hat and No. 16 Hawkins jersey on, it looks like dad has finally gotten through to son. The whole process though -- very much adorable.
Hawkins, a former Bengals wide receiver, has been a key contributor for the Browns in his first season in Cleveland. He's caught 39 passes for 504 yards and one touchdown, which came in a game against the Oakland Raiders just after the video in which Austin was "kicked out."
A knee/thigh injury kept Hawkins out of the Browns' 24-3 win over the Bengals.
