Vandy's Steven Clarke among 18 undrafted free agents signed by Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins announced Monday the signing of 18 undrafted free agents, including five players raised in Florida.
Vanderbilt defensive back Steven Clarke (Lauderdale Lakes), Marshall tight end Harold Hoskins (Gainesville), Illinois wide receiver Ryan Lankford (Jacksonville), Rutgers linebacker Marcus Thompson (Oakland Park) and Georgia WR Rantavious Wooten (Belle Glade) were among the undrafted free agents who signed with Miami.
Earlier, the Dolphins announced they had waived wide receiver Michael Rios and quarterback Jordan Rodgers. Both players were signed in April.
Rios, undrafted out of Marist College, is a local product from Miami Belen Jesuit High School. He played with the Arizona Cardinals last season.
Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, spent time on the Tampa Bay and Jacksonville practice squads last season.
