OMAHA, Neb. (AP) Having already won the FIVB World Grand Prix Finals, the United States completed the tournament Sunday with a straight-set victory over China.

The Americans avenged their five-set loss to China on July 19 by winning 25-23, 25-19, 25-18. They ended the match with a spike by home-state star Jordan Larson-Burbach. Karsta Lowe and Megan Easy combined for 26 spikes and U.S. captain Christa Dietzen had nine.

The Americans went 15-2 in tournament sets and captured their first Grand Prix title since 2012 with Saturday's victory over Brazil. This was the final test for the U.S. before next month's first 2016 Olympic qualifying tournament - the World Cup in Japan.

In later matches for the silver and bronze medals, it was Italy against Brazil and Japan against Russia.
