US beats Finland 4-1 in women's world hockey

MALMO, Sweden (AP) Hilary Knight had two goals and an assist and the United States beat Finland 4-1 on Sunday to improve to 2-0 in Pool A play in the women's world hockey championships.
Kendall Coyne and Hannah Brandt also scored, and Brianna Decker had three assists. The defending champion Americans opened Saturday with a 4-2 victory over Canada.
The U.S. will face Russia in Tuesday.
Canada beat Russia 4-0 on Sunday. Ann-Renee Desbiens made 19 saves, and Caroline Ouellette, Courtney Birchard, Laura Fortino and Marie-Philip Poulin scored.

In Pool B, Japan beat Germany 2-0, and Sweden topped Switzerland 3-2.
