LOS ANGELES (AP) UCLA has named a conglomeration of athletic facilities after Jackie Robinson, the four-sport Bruins star who broke baseball's color barrier.

The school announced Friday that 22 of its sports facilities will be collectively called the Jackie Robinson Athletics and Recreation Complex.

The facilities include Pauley Pavilion, the Los Angeles Tennis Center, the J.D. Morgan Athletics Center and numerous pools and gyms on UCLA's Westwood campus.

UCLA is honoring Robinson on the 75th anniversary of his arrival at the school. Robinson's widow, Rachel, attended a naming ceremony at the school's track and field stadium.

Robinson played baseball, football and basketball and ran track at UCLA from 1939-41.

The UCLA football team will wear Robinson's iconic No. 42 on its helmets for Saturday's game against Southern California at the Rose Bowl.
