Twins reinstate Trevor May from DL, option Boshers to Rochester

The Minnesota Twins will reinstate reliver Trevor May from the 15-day disabled list and option Buddy Boshers to Triple-A, the team announced Monday.

May missed the team's last 23 games with low back spasms. He appeared in four games on a rehab stint at Triple-A Rochester, allowing one run in 3 2/3 innings with one walk, six strikeouts and one save. The 26-year-old has a 6.08 ERA in 29 appeareances this year for the Twins, walking 10 and striking out 40 in 26 2/3 innings.

Boshers, 28, has appeared in 15 games for the Twins this season, yielding just two earned runs in 13 innings (1.38 ERA). He has a 1.42 ERA in 15 appearances for Rochester this season.
