Twins pitcher Trevor May's website features cat section
Lots of athletes have websites.
They are often slick; they are usually functional.
They typically feature branded apparel, action photos, news items on charity events or autograph appearances, etc.
Minnesota Twins pitcher Trevor May's new website has a few of those things, but it also has a page dedicated solely to his cat L.C. -- which (he claims) is not named after reality TV personality Lauren Conrad -- and his growing library of original house music.
Welcome to Trevor May's world.
"Professional Baseball Player for the Minnesota Twins, Disc Jocky, Yogi, Cook, Philosopher, and Dreamer," May notes on his landing page. "And Cats. He really likes his cat."
The site features a number of photos of L.C. (short for Lost Cat) as well as a selection of house tracks created by May, who was once known as DJ Hey Beef.
"From the more chill vibes to the stuff you feel like jumping up and down to, he has an appreciation for it all," reads May's music page.
Highlights include a trippy remix of British trance trio Alone & Beyond's song "We're All We Need," as well as a preview of a fist-pumping original track called "The Balvenie."
May pitched 114 2/3 innings for Minnesota last season, racking up 110 strikeouts and logging a 4.00 ERA. He also leads the Twins' rotation -- and perhaps Major League Baseball -- in SoundCloud listens with more than 4,000.
