All week long, USC defenders talked about the need to stop Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers.

And yet the diminutive junior still rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes for 43 yards.

Those totals moved Rodgers past Steven Jackson for third place in career rushing yards at Oregon State and into 11th place among Pac-10 totals.

Two years ago, Rodgers exploded on the national stage by rushing for 186 yards and two touchdowns, powering the Beavers to an upset of the top-ranked Trojans.

At the Coliseum last season, Rodgers rushed for 113 yards, ran for one touchdown and caught another.
