The Big Ten Network, Fox Sports 1 and … Trey Burke TV?
That’s right, less than a week after being selected with the ninth pick in the NBA Draft, former Michigan point guard Trey Burke announced his own television network.
Well, sort of.
It’s called TreyBurke.TV and is a glorified video website.
“Follow me for exclusive videos and photos on my journey to SLC (Salt Lake City),” Burke, a rookie on the Utah Jazz, tweeted Wednesday in a message to announce his new site, which is being billed as “The Official .TV Channel of Trey Burke.”
Burke, believe it or not, has been established as the odds-on favorite to win the NBA Rookie of the Year award next season by an offshore sportsbook called The Greek.
Burke is 7-2, followed by Orlando’s Victor Oladipo, the No. 2 pick in the draft, at 9-2 odds.
Anthony Bennett, who was the surprising first pick overall by Cleveland, is the sixth choice, according to The Greek’s odds, at 10-1.
