Tom Brady has been in the midst of a incredible beach vacation with his supermodel wife Gisele and their two perfect children. They've been horseback riding on the beach, he's been buried in sand by his kids, basically they are the greatest family on earth. All of this humanizes Brady. Which is kind of important to do when you're supermodel good looking, a hundred millionaire, and married to one of the most beautiful women on earth.
Brady is Superman.
I used to dislike Brady because he seemed too remote, robot like, the perfect boring Bill Belichick quarterback. While Peyton Manning was willing to show us he had a sense of humor, Brady was a blank slate. I didn't like the Patriots, I didn't like Belichick or anyone associated with them.
But then Brady started to take advantage of social media and use it to show us a little bit of his personality.
Now I kind of like the guy.
Particularly when his supermodel wife is taunting him to jump off a cliff. The subtext here is clear: "Yeah, you've won four Super Bowls, but you're a huge wuss. If you won't do it, I'll do it."
So he jumps.
Air Brady indeed.
