Thunder's Durant trashes media for treatment of Kobe

NBA players have spent the past 24 hours or so offering their thoughts, memories and feelings for Kobe Bryant, who announced on Sunday that this season would be his last.

Kevin Durant's tribute was different than the rest, though.

The Thunder guard used Kobe's retirement to blast the media for their treatment of the Lakers' superstar.

Specifically, Durant was irate that the media has talked about Bryant's poor play this season.

We don't want to anger Durant even further, but he may have heard about Kobe playing like s--t this season from the media because Bryant's shooting just 30 percent from the field as the Lakers sit at 2-15 for the season.
