Thunder-Grizzlies Game 4 preview

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 3:44 p.m. ET

Game 4 is 8:30 tonight in Memphis and the Thunder trail 2-1.

Things didn't go so well for the Thunder in Game 3, losing in overtime for the second time in a row. Things didn't go so well here in this column with my Game 3 predictions. Check it out here or just take my word for it that I went 10-14-1.

Let's try this again. Game 4 style.

Kevin Durant will have a triple-double. Marc Gasol will have a double-double.

The Thunder will lead by at least 10 points in the first half.

The Thunder bench which was an astounding minus-41 in the plus-minus rating will be minus-5 or better in Game 4.

Beno Udrih will not score in double figures. Tony Allen will. Neither will shoot 50 percent.

Mike Miller was 0-for-3 from the field in Game 3. He'll make two or more 3-pointers in Game 4.

Serge Ibaka has scored 12,15 and 17 points in the three games so far. He'll score 20-plus tonight and take at least 15 shots.

Reggie Jackson's scoring through three games: 15 points. He'll have that or more by the end of the third quarter in Game 4.

The Thunder will have more than 15 turnovers.

There were no same-colored, free t-shirts offered in Game 3 in Memphis. There will be for Game 4.

Jeremy Lamb will play. Foul trouble will be the reason Steven Adams has to play 10-plus minutes.

The Thunder are shooting 41 percent for the series. They'll shoot 45 percent or better in Game 4.

Caron Butler won't shoot better than 35 percent.

Russell Westbrook hasn't shot 50 percent in any of the three playoff games. He won't once again in Game 4. He'll score 27 or more points. And get a technical foul.

Nick Collison will have a put-back shot in the fourth quarter. Kosta Koufus will not. Nor will he score more than two points.

Game announcers will reference Derek Fisher's age.

Memphis will not shoot its playoff average of 43.3 percent.

The game will not go into overtime.

Oklahoma City wins, 89-84.
