
Texans TE Owen Daniels selected to Pro Bowl

HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels has been added to the AFC roster for this Sunday's Pro Bowl.
Daniels will make his second Pro Bowl appearance (2008) and becomes the ninth Texan chosen this season. Left tackle Duane Brown, running back Arian Foster, receiver Andre Johnson, cornerback Johnathan Joseph, center Chris Myers, quarterback Matt Schaub, left guard Wade Smith and defensive end J.J. Watt were also selected. Brown, Foster, Johnson, Joseph and Watt were named starters.
Daniels caught 62 passes for 716 yards in 2012, his seventh season. He led the Texans with a career-high six touchdown catches.
