TAMPA, Fla. -- Three weeks removed the conclusion of the regular season, the Tampa Bay Rays 2014 campaign was not without its highlights. On Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7:00 p.m., Sun Sports, the statewide television home of the Rays, will turn the page on the past year and look forward to a promising future with the debut of the "Tampa Bay Rays 2014 Post Season Special." Hosted by Sun Sports Rays host / in-game reporter Todd Kalas, this special episode takes a look at the ups and downs of the season and the solid foundation upon which the organization can continue to build on for 2015.

Manager Joe Maddon sits down with Sun Sports Rays play-by-play announcer Dewayne Staats to discuss the slow start of the team and the tremendous run the Rays made during the months of June through August, when the team posted the best record in the majors. Joe and Dewayne also analyze the rookie season of pitcher Jake Odorizzi, as well as the emergence of relievers Jake McGee and Brad Boxberger.

First-year outfielder Kevin Kiermaier provided instant energy and jaw-dropping defensive plays, which are spotlighted in the show. Todd and Sun Sports Rays analyst Orestes Destrade break down the past season and look toward next spring and the potential of Wil Myers and Evan Longoria to provide continued power and run support. Finally, Matthew Silverman's new role as president of baseball operations is also highlighted as the team heads into the off-season.
