Suspended Texas players rejoin team
Texas quarterback Case McCoy and linebacker Jordan Hicks have rejoined the football team.
Both McCoy and Hicks were suspended before the Alamo Bowl last month for violating team rules and sent home.
"Jordan Hicks and Case McCoy have rejoined the team," Brown said Sunday. "Obviously when you break team rules there's a certain amount of trust that has been broken, and that will be addressed with further discipline. That discipline will be handled within the team."
The Longhorns, who won the Alamo Bowl 31-27 over Oregon State, had a team meeting Sunday. School resumes Monday.
The Longhorns will resume workouts without offensive guard Thomas Ashcroft, tight end Trey Graham and defensive tackle Kyle Kriegel. All three have either graduated or will graduate this spring and have decided to give up their football eligibility.
Four players have enrolled at the school and will be part of spring practices. Junior college transfer tight end Geoff Swaim and true freshmen Deoundrei Davis, lineman Jake Raulerson and quarterback Tyrone Swoopes have all enrolled at UT.
