The Phoenix Suns signed guard Zabian Dowdell on Sunday to a 10-day contract.
The 6-foot-3, 191-pound Dowdell spent training camp with the Suns before being waived on Oct. 19. Dowdell then signed with the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League, where he has appeared in 18 games (18 starts) this season with averages of 14.5 points, 4.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 29.3 minutes. Dowdell also spent 10 games with the 66ers in 2009-10.
Dowdell, who played collegiately at Virginia Tech (2003-07), was a member of the Suns
