DALLAS (AP) The Stars have placed center Toby Petersen on injured reserve and recalled defenseman Philip Larsen from the minor leagues.
The move Thursday was retroactive to Sunday, the day before Petersen sustained a lower-body injury during practice. The 32-year-old has three points in 34 games.
Larsen has played 29 games for the Texas Stars of the AHL. He has 13 assists and eight penalty minutes. The 21-year-old also has played three games for Dallas this season.
