After Peterson drew a foul on Fraser Aird, Feilhaber's first penalty kick was stopped, but goalkeeper David Ousted was called for being off his line. Feilhaber converted the retake to give Sporting (11-11-5) a 2-0 lead in the 64th.Â
Kansas City's Alec Kann had two saves for his second-career shutout in six starts.Â
The Whitecaps (8-12-6) have lost four games in a row and are winless in their last six.Â
