Special #SDLive celebrates the life of Tony Gwynn today after Padres Live

SAN DIEGO -- A year following the loss of Tony Gwynn, FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) will air an inspirational edition of #SDLive looking back at his incredible career, honoring his life off the field, and celebrating the reason why he is widely-known as "Mr. Padre."

Tonight's episode of #SDLive will immediately follow live coverage of San Diego Padres vs. Oakland Athletics beginning at 12:00 PM PST. The show features Alicia Gwynn, his wife and best friend for over 46 years along with Ted Leitner, radio voice for the Padres and Aztecs, and Dick Enberg, baseball Hall of Fame member and Padres play-by-play announcer.

#SDLive host Mike Pomeranz talks with Alicia Gwynn about the challenges she still faces each day, what she misses most about Tony and his last words that encourage her to keep moving forward. Leitner shares stories with the group about his time with Gwynn on the road and Enberg reminisces about how approachable the baseball legend was to his enduring fans and the impact he made on them.

This episode of #SDLive will debut today immediately following live coverage of Oakland Athletics at San Diego Padres beginning at 12:00 PM PST on FOX Sports San Diego.
