Sixers waive Clark after trade

A day after being packaged in a trade to Philadelphia, forward Earl Clark has been waived.
The team announced the transaction Friday.
Clark was included as part of the deal that sent Spencer Hawes to Cleveland and Henry Sims, plus two second rounders to the 76ers Thursday.

The former first-round pick Clark, 26, was averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game as a member of the Cavs.
Clark's salary for this season is $4.25 million.
